When to not use React Native?

Hello! We’re contemplating using React Native to build new features into our apps. I have a couple high-level questions to gauge if this is a good choice. We have a GraphQL endpoint for our web app.

  1. Could we add React Native views to our existing native apps? I know Facebook has mixed apps. But given the current open source toolset, can you create apps that mix React Native views and traditional native views (Java, Interface Builder, Swift).

  2. Are there types of apps that are bad choices for doing React Native? For example, a 3d game is a bad choice for using React Native (I assume). Are there any categories of “normal UI” apps that would be a bad fit for choosing React Native?

Thanks!
