REACT NATIVE: Creating a new app in the current directory

(Ryan) #1

I am aware that a feature like this exists for the React CLI, but I don’t know about the React Native CLI. Being able to initialize a React Native boilerplate application in the current directory could be very handy. Something like this:

$ mkdir AwesomeProject
$ cd AwesomeProject
$ create-react-app .

Or

$ mkdir AwesomeProject
$ cd AwesomeProject
$ react-native init .

And have the CLI spit all the necessary files and folders into the current directory instead of making a new directory.
